My journey into the art world began in 1999 when I moved to Colorado. I work in three mediums: oil and pastels and acrylics. I must admit that I have developed a particular love for pastels. Pastels lend themselves to vibrant color. Most important is to enjoy creating art.

I am a representational artist inspired daily by what I see. Whatever the scene, I intuitively transpose the mood and the feeling to my canvas and the image comes alive with color and excitement. I have a passion for life and try to enjoy each day to the fullest. Gardening, another love of mine provides me with flowers to paint from. Music is vital in my life. Most evenings a little time is set aside for playing the piano.
